Working on Helena Ocean View Marina, Samal Island Philippines 2015

New fore deck on Helena.

Helena had a teak deck, glued and screwed with thousands of screws, after 25 years we had leaks every where, and a solution was needed.

In Pohnpei, Micronesia, we took of the teak, and filled the wholes with epoxy, in Samal I made one layer of fiber glass and epoxy on deck, and we painted the whole deck, a long and hard job, in very hot environment, I could work only a few hours a day. But we are happy with the result.
